How will the goods be sent to me, and how long will it take?

We shall arrange for the walking aids to be delivered by a reliable contractor.

Within the UK delivery will be within 7-10 working days.

If you are outside the EU, we ask you to email us at: contact@somerwood-walking-aids.com so that we can agree a delivery date (and also suitable postage and packaging charges).

I'm exempt from paying VAT. How do I pay excluding VAT?

If, as a result of disability, you are legally exempt from paying VAT, then:

  • please complete the relevant questions in the Order Form
  • before ordering any products, click on the Change Price Set button in the left-hand margin and select the Excluding VAT option.


    • This means that the total cost of the products will be calculated net of VAT.

    I'm VAT exempt but the total price still includes VAT

    This probably means that the Price Set was not changed before the products were added to the Shopping Basket.

    This can be easily corrected by:
  • clicking on the Shopping Basket button in the left-hand margin
  • deleting the products you have ordered - by clicking on the dustbin symbol against each ordered product
  • pressing the Continue Shopping button at the bottom of the page
  • clicking the Change Price Set button in the left-hand margin and select the Excluding VAT option
  • re-ordering your products.


    • What methods can I use to pay?

    You can pay by credit or debit card, or by cheque.

    Is it to safe for credit cards? Is my data stored securely?

    This is a secure site, as demonstrated by the https:// URL in the Address box near the top of the screen, and by the small yellow padlock towards the bottom right of the screen. These appear when you enter the Order Form part of the site.
    Your credit or debit card number is held securely and will not appear on screen or in any emails after you leave the Order Form page.
